While Covid-19 restrictions remain in place, more businesses and venues will be permitted to open on Monday 12 April. So as we move toward a more normal way of life, businesses are beginning to plan portrait shoots, events and conferences.
The reality of business after COVID-19 is that not everyone will recover. Some businesses that closed will never reopen. Are your regular image suppliers still going? Looking for a new photographer? I am happy to quote on projects, send over my rate card or perhaps a brief Zoom call to talk over your requirements?
During this time business marketing has rapidly changed. The adoption of new ways of working has accelerated as consumers and businesses turned to digital and reduced-contact ways of accessing products and services. This shift is likely to stick, to a large extent simply because e-commerce and e-business is often more efficient and less expensive. Fewer business trips and expense accounts will be needed. Do you have the correct visual collateral to represent this?
For many the work from home model is also likely to stay for a lot of organisations and individuals. The home is now the hub where people live, work, learn, shop, and play. New staff will join your business that rarely visit the office. Do you need a flexible photographer with a mobile studio that can visit them safely? I can create a series of matching and complementary business portraits even if your team is miles apart.
I've already been speaking to event organisers about plans for September and October. I have bags of experience getting onboard early in a project cycle and can help you get the most visual impact for your social media channels, as well as editorial and trade press coverage. DM me to organise a chat.

Getting a portrait booked in for a business profile can be a new and daunting experience for some people. Many of my clients have never had a professional photoshoot before and of course it is up to me to make them comfortable ...
A very busy and interesting weekend working for Marise Payne Australia's Minister for Foreign Affairs at various venues across the city. It was my first time working at a high profile diplomatic summit.
A couple of weeks ago I was honoured to be asked to present and exhibit some of my artworks at the “Unmasked” Digifest and annual research conference 2021, based in Durban, South Africa
"David is an amazing Liverpool based photographer. Not just in his professionalism and demeanour, but in his clear understanding of how to create the best images for clients. We worked together on a number of commercial projects and it was quality both in terms of content and prompt delivery of files every time. Absolutely no problem recommending him, he is a true pro at what he does !"
